I’ve described a suite of open source software that I think are useful for personal and small-to-medium sized business use, but what sort of software do you need for open source to work for you?

You can find a lot of open source alternatives to the proprietary software you may be using at the moment on sites like opensource.com, Wikipeida, and Github. But there still might not be what you’re looking for there. Or maybe you’ve tried some open software but it’s just missing a few key features you need for your use case.
